Review for SEQUENT MEET

''SEQUENT MEET'' is a multidimensional short film from filmmaker Ajay Subramanian. Although the thematic selection is bold, unfortunately the direction fails to impress as it prefers the safest root and hesitates to try breakthrough shots and angles. From a technical aspect we enjoyed the sound design and lightning. It is obvious that the actors put a lot of passion into these characters and it is successful. The wiring of the plot is a bit problematic and left us hanging confused between past and present as this is a time travelling mystery. Simple is better and we would suggest Mr.Subramanian to try more basic scripts with better presentation. In this category the budget is important but not everything. As SEQUENT MEET comes, we can proudly say that it is a very optimistic first artistic step and we are at the edge of our seats for more.
