Welcome Mr Hui Huanzhang, we are very excited to have you today and discuss about your work. So who is Hui Huanzhang ?
Hello, thank you very much for my interview with me! I am Hui Huanzhang. I was born in Shaanxi Province, China in 1962. The current occupation is the head and writer, screenwriter, and director of the film and television company. Since 2010, my film creation began in 2010. At that time, I was the director of the TV column and adapted the book Guan Zhongbai Monster I have written before it. The 468 -minute documentary camera was completed and broadcast. Can you tell us about your previous work?

Talk to us about your work, science and its importance in your work?
The Book of Changes is the earliest and most important classic in the history of Chinese civilization in the four major civilizations of human beings. It is considered to include the source of all the monarchs and principles of all things. The entire history of China has a profound and far -reaching influence. The Book of Changes is also considered to be the language and password of the universe, which not only contains the earliest philosophical principles of China and the world, but also contains rich natural science mysteries. However, the Book of Changes is also a book of divination. Most Chinese people understanding of the Book of Changes also only knows that it is a divination book, but little knows about the philosophy and scientific principles contained in the Book of Changes. Many important figures in Chinese history have analyzed and elaborated the content of the Book of Changes, but no one can explain it, which has caused the Book of Changes to become the most mysterious book in Chinese history. unsolved puzzle. When I learned about the situation of the Book of Changes, I felt that I should try it to shoot the Book of Changes into a documentary. Through the film and television language, people have a clear and scientific understanding of the Book of Changes. This is not only very important to everyone who is concerned about every Chinese and every country who pays attention to and attempts to understand Chinese history. At the same time, it is also a difficult challenge for myself. It is very important to my work. Later, he won more than 10 International Film Festival awards including the Athens International Monthly Art Film Festival Honor Award. It is enough to explain that this film has great significance to my work. This is the most successful film I have shot since I was engaged in the film and television career.
Talk to us about your documentary ? How was it created and what inspired it?
Close to the Book of Changes is a humanistic science documentary with a comprehensive and multi -angle deep - seated analysis of the comprehensive cultural phenomenon of the Book of Changes, with a length of 88 minutes. The script was created in March 2020. At that time, a friend introduced me to the Book of Changes because of his work relationship. When I read some information about the Book of Changes, I was shocked. When I just wanted to shoot a documentary, I felt that this subject was like it, so I decided to shoot this documentary.
Subsequently, I used more than 20 days to write the first draft of the script. After many arguments, I modified the three drafts after many arguments, and then started shooting. In the system, I worked as a screenwriter, director, photography guidance, editing guidance, music guidance, and theme music composition. It took 2 years to complete the system and launched the network platform in March 2022.
Does the Book of Changes have important significance to you at the personal level?
As of now, I have shot hundreds of documentary films, 3 comedy movies, as well as hundreds of micro -movies, promotional films, and special films. Closer to the Book of Changes is the most satisfactory one, and the most award -winning and most fulfilling sense.
Is it possible to shoot a series of documentary related to the Book of Changes?
Regarding the topic of the Book of Changes, I have not yet filmed the idea of a sequel or a series of documentary.

What is the message the audience should convey leaving the screening of your film ?
Many audiences believe that I only knew that the Book of Changes was a book of divination, and through this film, I knew that the Book of Changes was still a philosophical work and scientific works. Not only did people see the development and inheritance relationship between Baijia, Confucianism, science, and Chinese studies in ancient China, but also the special relationship between the Book of Changes and Western sciences. Not only did he have a clear understanding of the Book of Changes, but also unexpectedly saw the most complete Chinese history, and the first most complete Chinese cultural history. Therefore, most people think that this is a very meaningful and beautiful film.
What is the target audience of the project?
From the viewing information obtained from the online platform, the most audience of ‘‘Close’’ is China first -tier cities. The audience concentrated in men between 35 and 45 years old. My current key work is to continue to shoot documentary. At present, there have been more than 5 topic selection of documentary films that have been created and created, of which 2 are being filmed.
