Review for Ms.Therapist

''Ms. Therapist'' is the short drama of young director Carlos F. Godinez. Following Alex inside her therapist sessions we are treated to creative editing and outstanding performances. Unfortunately the climax lands flat and fails to shock the audience after the reveal. One film this film succeeds is keeping it simple, an essential quality of any short film. The cinematography fits the overall tone and aesthetic of this film successfully. Sound designing is decent and lastly the pacing felt a bit dragged out. Showcasing a very sensitive and controversial subject director Carlos F. Godinez delivers a safe but heartfelt film leaving a lot of expectation for his upcoming projects.
