Review for Like a PowerPoint

''Like a PowerPoint'' is the short dramatic film of directing duo  Pat Bradley & Melanie Gretchen. In this slice of life piece we are witnessing the romanting negotiations of a man and a woman that have different potential outcomes for their wedding plans. The audience is immediately locked in this third person perspective of our two main characters having an intense dialogue that falls flat as the viewer hasn't had enough to work with. This means that the audience will not connect and empathize with what is happening on screen. The actors deliver a great performance and it is obvious that the whole team is behind the script. From a technical stance we see some clever and creative use of light and sound mixing. The locations leave a lot to be desired as we could use some more detailed production design. The film succeeds in telling a story that everyone can relate to without taking any risks in character development. We are very curious and optimistic to see what's next from  Pat Bradley and Melanie Gretchen.
