Reviewing Arthur de la Rambelje’s latest music video

''CANYON - Stay'' directed by Arthur de la Rambelje is an indie rock music video heavily inspired by the 00s rock clip era. This of course provides a sweet nostalgia and a very successful format to lay out a great song. Firstly we have to congratulate CANYON for their great single as this is pure rock goodness.

As an audience we are treated to some outstanding transitions that caught us off guard. These are created with synchronised and well timed editing. The color correction and cinematography department deliver a beautiful eye candy result. Some of the indoor locations were in need of some more props to enrich the environment although this does not subtract from the narrative risks Arthur de la Rambelje took to tell his story. This video clip has nothing to fear from a commercial record label as this is some exemplary use of working around a small budget.

The lighting fits the tone and creates a cinematic atmosphere straight out of the good old days of MTV. The story may not be the most original idea but the stunning and beautiful execution leaves nothing to be desired, contrariwise we found ourselves playing this on repeat in our offices. We eagerly await the next song as new fans.
