Review for ''The Alliance 2: The Hunt for Breeze''

''The Alliance 2: The Hunt for Breeze'' by Robert L Butler Jr is one of the most extraordinary, ambitious and eruptive films of the year. This doesn't come without flaws though. We are immediately given a huge colorful universe of multidimensional characters to explore. It's clear that a lot of effort was put in the screenwriting as all the characters feel unique and detailed. This complete one man show gives a strong punch in revenge action movies cliches as you cannot predict what is coming next in every scene. Loaded with short humor sequences that occasionally hit or miss, the structure of this film is organic but there are major pacing issue that should have been resolved back in the editing room. The main characters deliver fair performances with some over dramatization when needed. The cinematography does not do justice to the plethora of locations we are given and the excellent production design as props, costumes and make up are on fleek. Time to talk for one of the most important senses. As it is known in the cinema world a film with bad video quality can be seen, but one with bad sound quality could never. The music and sound effects are orchestrated to perfection to synchronise the tone of the film but some sound recording is misleading as locations and shooting conditions vary. Having discussed all of the given topics of this film we want to embrace director Robert L Butler Jr to continue being truly him as his style kept us on the edge of our seats waiting for the next installment.
